What makes this program unique?

The program offers a blended learning approach with live online sessions, recorded lab sessions, and optional campus immersion at IIT Bhubaneswar REP. You can choose from 15 courses, including electives, to customize your learning path and focus on your areas of interest.

Who is eligible for the program?

The program is open to individuals with a background in engineering or applied sciences, such as B.E./B.Tech., M.Tech., B.Arch./M.Arch., or relevant diplomas/ engineering like automobile, electrical, mechanical, etc. Candidates with deep interests but from other backgrounds may also apply through a screening process.

How long is the program?

The program lasts 9 months, including a 7-day mandatory campus immersion. Learners can opt for an additional 14 days of campus immersion for an extra fee.

Can I choose the courses I want to study?

Yes, the program allows for a customized learning path. You will select from 15 courses across five domains, including EV system engineering, battery systems, and operations. Some courses are mandatory, while others are electives.
Each EV course listed in our curriculum provides you with a different segment of the electric vehicle field allowing you to customize your program based on your interest area of this vast field.

What is the campus immersion experience?

The program includes a 7-day immersion at IIT Bhubaneswar, where learners can engage in hands-on workshops, research activities, and industry visits. An optional 14-day extended immersion is available for an additional fee.

What are the admission requirements?

Candidates should have a background in engineering or applied sciences, with degrees such as B.E., B.Tech., or equivalent. Relevant work experience is recommended but not mandatory. There is also a screening process for those without traditional qualifications.

How much does the program cost?

The total cost for the base program, including the 7-day campus immersion, is ₹1,70,000 + GST. The optional 14-day immersion costs an additional ₹30,000 + GST. Application fees are ₹1,000 + GST, and admission fees are ₹9,000 + GST.

Are there any payment plans available?

Yes, we offer a two-installment payment option, as well as EMI options through Eduvanz, Propelld, and nationalized banks.

What is the refund policy?

Fees are non-refundable after the start of the cohort. However, learners can receive an 80% refund on course fees if they cancel before the cohort's start date.

How will the program be conducted?

The program is delivered through a combination of live online lectures, recorded lab sessions, and in-person industry workshops which will be conducted at IIT Bhubaneswar REP. Learners can access self-paced learning materials during the week and participate in live sessions on weekends.

How much time will I need to commit each week?

You are expected to dedicate 5-7 hours per week to self-paced learning during weekdays and 2-3 hours for live lectures during weekends.

What kind of certification will I receive?

Upon successful completion, learners will receive a Post Graduate Certificate in e-Drives and Battery Systems, jointly certified by IIT Bhubaneswar REP and evACAD. Learners from non-engineering backgrounds who complete the program may receive an Advanced Certificate.

Will I receive placement assistance?

Yes, the program offers placement assistance through industry visits, interview preparation, and networking opportunities with EV companies. Internships with IIT Bhubaneswar REP startups and the broader ecosystem are also available.

Can I apply for research positions after the program?

Yes, learners interested in research positions at IIT Bhubaneswar will be assisted in their application process after successfully completing the program.
